YanıtlaSilWe read “The Pursuit of Excellence” last week.It was about university education system in America.Firstly, authour mentioned about perciption.Authour gave an example.There were blind men and one elephant.After blind men inspected,each blind men reached different conclusion.It is a very popular philosophical experiment. Secondly,the text gave some information about foreign students.It mentioned why many students have gone to America each year.According to text,most European and Asian universities provide an elite service

against elitism ,but I happen to like having people who are
more eager to learn."I think he is quite idealistic.
we read "The Pursuit of Excellence" last week.First of all the author wrote american education system and he told about that american education system is envy but it is not the truth. I dont agree with author because alot of people can't be successful at the same time.This is a normal situation.It can't show that there is a problem.Secondly we told about foreign students in the USA and we learned that US universities acknowladge students whenever they come so they are prefered by alot of foreign student.Finallay we told about elitisim.T.S Eliot told "I'm not against elitism but I happen to like having poeople who are more eager to learn.".I totally agree with him because people who don't want to study or learn something are totally waste of time.If you are together students who want to learn much more , your can study more enjoyable than other with thhese students.This situation not only students but also teachers and schools becomes more successful.In conclusion, we told about American's education system last week.Generally, I agree with authors' ideas and I believe that if people want to be succesful, teacher favour these students with their interests.
YanıtlaSilThis week's topic was The pursuit of Excellence.I learned something about system of universities in United States.According to text,United States had 407,530 students from 193 different contries last year because of educatin.Asia has the largest number of the students studying in the United States,and China only sent 39,600 students and Japan sent 36,610 students,so Asia is number one.Also,these countries universties have different.For example,60% students attend college in United States,and 37% students attend college in Asia,and 78% students attend college in Europe.In addition,students pay for their education in United States,and students do not pay in Asia because education is goverment funded,and students exactly do not pay in Europe because education is mostly state funded.Also,people can go back to college,and students can move from school to school or from department to deparment,and the community is part of a student's life in United States,but Europe and Asia is not similar about education system.Besides,Turkey education system is not similar like America,and this subjects imposible for Turkey because Turkey is solid about education.I think that it is useful for a country,and although many American professors and administrators feel that there are serious problems with American universities, thousands of foreign students come to the United States to study. The American university system offers them many opportunities and advantages that they do not get in their own or other countries.
YanıtlaSilIs it easy to arrive at perfection? All of the countries long for USA's strength. Stastistics also show this fact. In the USA, all of the people who graduate from high school, study at universities. This level increases day by day. People may not sometimes study at high-profile universities even if they try hard. Anybody wants to study at a high-profile universities. The universities in the USA accept any student from any country. However in Asia, universities have got strict rules. Everyone should educate equally because of the social and political requirements. People who study at American universities are not supposed to be in the same level unlike Europeans. At past, T.S Eliot loved the people who want to be educated afterwards. The campus life in the USA is also developed. The daily life of the students is taken notice. Generally, Japanese come to the USA in order to be educated. I liked this week's text. If I were the writer, I'd write the same text. I advice the writer to write about parallel topics as this text.
YanıtlaSilWe read a very interesting task about educational systems of countries last week.Educational systems of the United States and educational systems of other countries were compared in this task.I surprised to learn that developed countries educate only elite students.I wonder that why these countries attach importance to elite students only.The goverment of America wants other students to educate.Why does U.S.A want these students? That scholarships and card to these students are given is interesting.Perhaps the brain drain is being with this way.There are 193 countries in the world and that a total of 407,530 students come from all of these countries to Amerika each yeear is success for U.S.A. I thought students go from only undeveloped counries to America to educate but students go from all over the world to America like 39,600 students China and 36,610 students from Japan.In fact,looking at the ranking of students coming to Amerika be seen firts the these developed countries.Do you think why?Do you think their educational systems are not enough?
YanıtlaSilInternational students who come to the United States may wonder about American educational system. The American system requires that students complete 12 years of primary and secondary education to attending university or college. High school graduates enrolled in colleges or universities students have to option of attending a two year university. I told Theresa. She explained their system. In addition, she enrolled two year community college before appliying to four year university. Generally athletes enroll two year college and their lessons is not good. The difference between the college and university depend very much upon where you live. There is a very distinct difference between the USA and the rest of the world. In the US there is very little difference between college and university. In the US the terms are synonyms other countries use college to refer to some secondary schools, but university is always used to mean an institution of tertiary education and higher learning. Universities are usually larger and often contain multiple college within them. However sone of the top ranked schools in US have a name including college. Finally I really want to have education in US. As we have seen many American films used high scholl or university their subjects. Their high school equal to our university and I wanted to graduate from US high school, but I hope I will go there as soon as possible.
YanıtlaSilLast week we read one long text about education system of American universities.Text have shown that Asian universities are better than American universities. Actually it's not entirely true because there are 193 countries in the world and that a total of 407,530 students come from all of these countries to Amerika but the students do not perefer to go another countries .For example approximately 32.000 students go to China . So elit and rich people’s children can g oto school in European and Asian countries but A little different the U.S. education system. All students who want to can go to school.As a result , There are two reasons why the American education system is bad from Europe.First one is that there are a lot of students in America .The second reason is that students who want to go to school can go to school ,these students decrease the quality of education .
