This week we studied on different types of energy sources. If you want to build a “ Do It Homestead” for you , what kind of energy source do you want to use? Why and How?
According to studies results we are losing our sources graduatly like oil and water. We are wasting them rather they have limit we know that , but we are still wasting them.They are very important for our lives such as water we are using it everywhere.Another example oil,it has limit.We have to prenvent wasting our sources.”Do It Homestead” is a good way to save our energy and sources.I want to build a structure like that . I want to use solar energy which comes from the sun.Sun shines keeps an energy inside of it.I want to use it because it is very natural way to make an energy.And also it hasn’t limit.It has disadvantages too such as you can’t use it in London because there is always no sun shine.If you will use this system you need a sun shine to make an energy.In addition this systems arre very expensive to build but bu you can profit from your bill as soon as you started using it.It is very convenient system you can use it wherever you want like in your house’s electricity and it also natural way to make an energy.We will prevent to wasting our sources with using these systems.Briefly solar systems are useful and natural way to make an energy.
In my opinion, oil is the most important source of energy nowadays. Although, we have to use solar energy, wind energy, and water energy. Especially, water energy must be the most important source of energy in Turkey. Turkey is surrounded by seas on 3 sides, but we don’t use water energy because someone doesn’t allow us. For instance, bosporus has very strong current. we should use this energy, but someone doesn’t allowed us. As a matter of fact, Rusya constituted nuclear power plant our country, and we allowed Rusya. Supposing that, we didn’t know what happened to Japan. I don’t want to write more political subject. I want to be honest. This reading subject isn’t attracted me.
We read two passages about oil in this week. Actually, they aren't more interesting passages. However, when I read them, I learned a lot of beneficial things. I realized importance of oil. We use it almost everything, most of us don't know its significances. Also, I learned a lot of unknowable words. In this way, I could improve my vocabulary skills. Second passage is more interesting than first one. In this text, we can learn benefits of solar systems in our daily lives. It is a very useful system. If you have a solar system, you don't have to pay electricity bills every month because you can produce your own electricity. I imagined it, and it sounds really logical. Maybe I'll produce my solar system in my home in future, and I'll get rid of paying electricity bills every month.

There is a family who use solar-energy instead of oil. It is really interesting idea. We can pay less money by using solar-energy. In this reason, using solar-energy is benefical for some people, but in my opinion, the most useful source is water because there are a lot of water sources in the world. I prefer it because it is free. I think people can use water to produce electricity. People can built electric power plants on the water, and they can take advantage of water.

Solary energy and oil are important because you can produce your own electriicty with solar energy so you can pay less Money. Oil is really useful. We use it everywhere such as detergant, drugs, cars etc but it isn’t suitable for environment. It is dirty and unhealthy.

I said that we shouldn’t use the water for energy, and we can use another things like wind. The water shouldn’t insist. My friend Emin said that it won’t insist, so it can use his thinks. We discussed with Emin in the class this week. In brief, many things can be used for energy source, but I think the water shouldn’t be used.
This week,we read two informative passages.They include a lot of terms about world resources,especially first passage,but I think they are very good.Second passage is more interesting than first passage because it includes Collins' homestead and their life.In my opinion,they contribute to save the environment.If only other people did this kind of things.People damage the world.Thus,they endanger their own life.I think the most important thing is our life.If the world dies,we can't live that's why I want to use some renewable energy sources such as solar energy,water,and so on.I prefer solar energy or wind because they are natural and don't harm the environment.And also,they are free.In addition,people don't have to fight for using these sources.I think it is another important point of view.To sum up,mankind need to get on well with the world.
